Terms of Service
Welcome to Jarqon. By accessing our application and installing our connector, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Service Description
Jarqon provides a mobile control plane and a locally installed daemon (connector) that allows users to remotely control and automate tasks on their machines using AI agents. The service acts as a secure communication bridge between your mobile device and your infrastructure.
2. User Responsibilities
You are entirely responsible for all actions executed through the Jarqon connector. The connector runs with the permissions of the user account under which it is installed. You must ensure you only approve commands that you understand and trust.
3. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service and the open-source connector are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely secure.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Jarqon, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or system damage resulting from the use of the platform or the execution of automated AI agent commands.
5. Account and Billing
Paid plans are billed periodically based on your selection. Subscriptions may be canceled at any time from your dashboard, which will halt future billing cycles. No refunds are provided for partial usage.
6. Permissions & Access Controls
The Jarqon connector operates under your macOS user account's permissions. For uninterrupted filesystem access, the connector may request Full Disk Access — a system-level permission you grant in macOS System Settings. This permission allows the connector to read files across your home directory without triggering individual permission popups.
Regardless of filesystem permissions, all write operations (file creation, modification, deletion, and system commands) require your explicit approval through the Jarqon mobile app before execution. Read-only operations (listing directories, reading files, searching) execute without approval prompts. You may revoke Full Disk Access at any time without uninstalling the connector.
7. Connector Removal & Data Deletion
You may remove the Jarqon connector from your machine at any time through the Jarqon mobile app (Settings → Remove Connector), which will remotely uninstall the connector software, remove all configuration files under ~/.jarqon, unload the macOS LaunchAgent, and revoke the connector's access token on our servers. Alternatively, you may run the uninstall script directly on your machine at ~/.jarqon/bin/jarqon-connector-uninstall.sh. Upon uninstallation, no residual processes, configuration files, or credentials remain on your device.
